today we held our first preview service. no advertising, just whoever shows up from a friend's invitation or heard another way. we had prepared to have 40 people, and we ended up having 58! it was exciting to see people we didn't even know walk in to sit in those seats.the service was great: it was a great first impression for those just checking us out today. worship was dynamic--people clapped after 2 of the songs. kids' ministry was rocking--we had way more young kids than we planned for, but it was a fun environment, and all the 3-5 year olds had a cool craft to take home.
thanks for your prayers. we're working hard, and this thing's definitely going in the right direction. now we have to wait 2 whole weeks until our next service.
