yesterday we had our second service, and it was as much fun as the first. we know from the so-called experts that in plants like ours attendance will drop 50% from week 1 to week 2, so we were hoping for 100. we ended up with 107...plus 2 who showed up at 10:30--when we were tearing down!
service went great, band was the best they've been yet, and about 20 of us had lunch together after church, including 6 first-timers.

Well of course!!! The message of GOOD NEWS is VERY contagious! I'm so delighted to hear the crowd is still following Him! Thanks for leading well, Carl (and team)!! We pray His message hits ALL the streets of the Baltimore area! What enthusiam and encouragement for us to hear!

That's wonderful. How neat that people coming to a church for the first time would feel welcome enough to go to lunch afterwards. Says alot about how you're presenting yourselves and what God's doing there
That's interesting that church planters say 50% count the 2nd week - what is that attributed to?
